Jane Dwight and Kate Osborne will be demonstrating their skills on Saturday 28th May from 12am to 3pm at 2 Knoyle Road.

They both paint in watercolours, but there the similarity ends. Jane paints on very absorbent Chinese Xuan  paper with Chinese paints, sometimes mixed with Western Watercolours. Kate paints on very robust western water colour paper in the wet-on-wet style.

They both use chinese brushes and they will both demonstrate familiar subjects so that the two art forms can be compared. They paint flowers such as clemetis and animals such as sheep and goats along with other subjects. Those watching are encouraged to participate by asking questions and by having a go themselves.
