Kate Scott

Kate Scott Little Interloper

In my paintings I use marks and colour instinctively as a language to convey emotion, mood, response to nature, landscape and memory; there is often a battle between recklessness and control, natural expression and artificial order, the resulting truce hopefully being a feeling of balance, as if they have just come in to being – depicting a world within themselves.
