Ulrika Jarl Pier mug

Swedish born, Jarl is a designer/maker/illustrator. She has illustrated some of her hometowns most recognisable scenes. The intricate line drawings of urban scenes with splashes of colour usually highlight the greenery in amongst the man-made buildings. Ulrika was recently picked to illustrate The Warren 2017 brochure cover. A well-known festival site during Brighton’s Fringe Festival in May.

Made by Jarl illustrations feature hand-drawn views inspired by simple Mid Century line-drawings. The views featured are often less famous landmarks and sometimes entirely fictional inspired by world events. All the materials used for the drum lampshades are made in Britain and the durable cotton fabric makes a great canvas for the prints. These lampshades are an ideal gift for anyone who loves the city and are suitable for ceiling pendants, table or floor lamps.

The Fine Bone china mugs are made in Stoke-on-Trent and hand finished with a high quality ceramic transfer. They are dishwasher and microwave safe.

Commissions for bespoke lampshades or illustrations are also available on request. So, if you’ve ever had the desire to have your house or street featured on a lampshade or as a beautiful Art Print, here’s you chance.
